DCDigital HW2 HDMI Kit for Dreamcast

The soldering was fiddly but the pads are nicely spaced, and once it was in my Dreamcast the picture is ridiculously sharp on my plasma. No more blurry VGA box, this is the way to play.

Took me two evenings with a fine-tipped iron to get it seated properly, but the image quality on my CRT is night and day versus composite. The install guide was clear enough, and once it’s in, the HDMI output is rock solid with no flicker. Well worth the patience if you’ve got steady hands.

Finally got it installed over the weekend, and the HDMI output on my Dreamcast is razor sharp compared to the old VGA box I was using. The install itself was definitely not for beginners, but the kit's build quality felt solid and the picture is worth every minute of careful soldering.
