We're pleased to offer the new upgraded remote control for the RetroTINK-5X. The new remote has improved range, shortcuts for quick-loading profiles and buttons for directly selecting a menu page, input source, output resolution and sync mode.

You will need to upgrade to firmware version 3.7 to support the new codes. Note: the newer firmware versions still work with the old remote as well.

Remote requires two AAA batteries (not included).

Elizabeth A. ★★★★★

The buttons have a much better tactile click than the stock one, so I'm not second-guessing whether the input registered. Paired it with my setup in seconds and it just works from across the room.

Jacob ★★★★★

The range improvement is legit—I can trigger inputs from across the room now, which is way better than the old remote that needed a direct line of sight. The shorter travel on the buttons makes rapid menu scrolling feel snappier too.

Hazel Q. ★★★★★

The shorter form factor means my thumb lands right on the menu button without hunting around, and the extra range lets me toss the remote on the couch and still trigger a scanline toggle from across the room. Paired with my 5X in seconds, no fuss at all.
