What you get in the Toaplan Shooters Vol 2 Collector's Edition, how it differs from the standalone Grind Stormer release, and which version fits your setup.
Quick answer
Buy the Toaplan Shooters Vol 2 Collector's Edition if you want both Slap Fight MD and Grind Stormer in one package; choose the standalone Grind Stormer release only if that single game is all you need.
Two games, one decision
The Collector's Edition bundles Slap Fight MD and Grind Stormer, so it covers two distinct shoot 'em up styles. The standalone Grind Stormer release gives you only that title. If you already know you want both, the bundle is the simpler path; if Grind Stormer is the only draw, the single release avoids paying for a game you may not play.
What the catalog does not list
The supplied product records describe the games and modes but do not list physical extras, download codes, or region details for the Collector's Edition. Treat any assumption about a soundtrack, art book, or packaging as unconfirmed until the listing itself states it. That absence is a real limitation when comparing collector bundles.
Toaplan Shooters Vol 2 FAQ
- What is in the Toaplan Shooters Vol 2 Collector's Edition?
- The catalog lists two games: Slap Fight MD (a remake of Slap Fight with a special mode) and Grind Stormer (a fast-paced shooter with arcade and V-Five modes). No other pack-in items are confirmed in the supplied record.
- Is Grind Stormer on Switch the same as in the Collector's Edition?
- The standalone Grind Stormer release is described with the same arcade and V-Five modes as the version in the Collector's Edition. The difference is that the standalone does not include Slap Fight MD.
- Who should buy the Collector's Edition instead of the standalone?
- Choose the Collector's Edition if you want both Slap Fight MD and Grind Stormer and prefer one purchase. Choose the standalone Grind Stormer if you only plan to play that title and want to spend less.
- Does the Collector's Edition include physical extras?
- The supplied product record does not list any physical extras, so check the live listing before assuming a soundtrack, booklet, or special packaging is included. If extras matter to you, confirm them on the product page before ordering.
- Are these games playable on a standard Switch?
- The catalog does not state platform compatibility beyond the product names. Confirm the platform on the listing if you are buying for a specific Switch model.
