Wasn't sure my old wireless pad would pair with the Mega Drive, but it synced up in seconds. Lag is basically unnoticeable on Sonic, and having no cord stretching across the floor is a small luxury. Only gripe is the receiver sticks out a bit far from the port.

Plugged this into my Mega Drive and my Bluetooth arcade stick paired instantly, no dongle swapping or firmware fuss. Latency is low enough that I stopped noticing it while playing, which is the whole point for me.

My old wireless controller finally gets to live again on the Mega Drive—pairing took about ten seconds and the Bluetooth connection has been rock solid through a two-hour Streets of Rage session. The receiver itself is tiny and sits flush in the cartridge slot, which is way less clunky than I expect
